Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 teaser

Cod4 4

Infinity Ward's highly anticipated Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 will be released on November 10, 2009, the developer announced at the Game Developers Choice Awards.

Accompanying the announcement was an extremely cryptic teaser trailer that features nothing really but mysterious sounds, subtle clues and the official release date. The trailer technically doesn't show the game's full name, only Modern Warfare 2, but it is most likely just for marketing purposes and the game will keep the name that's sold millions.

Platforms for the Call of Duty sequel haven't been announced yet, though we can safely assume it will have PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 versions.

Promod live

Cod4 2

This final version of Promod will most likely be the last of the competitive modifications for the European Call of Duty 4 scene. Recent versions of Promod have modified things which have caused a lot of upset amongst players, and it was generally agreed that a revert to an earlier version was needed but doing so would have lost some great new additions, such as the DAMN:MW shoutcaster overlay. Fortunately, carlisle has come to the rescue with his own final version. You can find the change-log (relative to Promod 3.0) below.
